Welcome To Beach To Bay Tennis!
Jack Carey, a lifetime resident of St. Petersburg, was raised in a tennis-playing family. His mother, Delight (Treffeisen) Carey, was a championship high school player inducted into St. Petersburg High School’s Hall of Fame. His parents instilled a love of the game and healthy competition in Jack and his sister, Jill. After working for years in the hospitality industry in the Tampa Bay area, Jack turned his love of the game into a business and started Beach to Bay Tennis in 2000. Coach Jack has a professional coaching certification and achieved a USTA singles ranking in Florida's top 20. He also achieved a USTA singles national ranking in his age group. He's also a certified pickleball instructor with more than eight years of teaching experience. He is a member of the Mountain Tennis Association board, representing Pickens County, Georgia, for the purpose of helping to expand tennis in the North Georgia mountains.
When starting with Beach to Bay Tennis, a conversation with Coach Jack will help you determine which instruction methods to accomplish your goals for playing.
Tennis is an outstanding sport that can promote and instill individual confidence, team cooperation, physical fitness, and FUN. Unlike many other sports, families can participate together and not just be spectators.

Group clinic: $20 per person.
Private lesson: $65 per hour
